Hello and Welcome! My name is Pip Hubbard. I am the priest and pastor of St. Clare’s Episcopal Church. I was born and raised in Raytown, Missouri, moved to Kansas in 1999 and consider myself very much the Midwesterner. My wife, Sonya, and I met in high school English class and we are having great fun (and the occasional challenge) raising our son, Ian.
Outside of my work in the Church, I enjoy fly fishing and fly tying, reading, travel and watching football, baseball and hockey.
Many people wonder what to call an Episcopal priest. There are lots of titles that apply in my case (Father, Reverend, Pastor, and even Vicar), and you should feel free to use the one that you are most comfortable with. As for me, I don’t need anything other than my nickname, “Pip”.
